This Privacy Policy explains how the Kerrigan Network website handles information. The short version: this is a static marketing site. We do not collect personal data, we set no cookies, and we run no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The Kerrigan Network website (kerrigan.network) is an informational marketing site. There are no user accounts, no logins, no e-commerce, and no newsletter signup. You can read about the project, view public network statistics, and follow links to the wallet, explorer, exchanges, and community channels without identifying yourself to us.
Because the site is essentially a brochure, there is very little for a privacy policy to govern. The sections below describe what does and does not happen when you visit.
As currently built, this website collects no personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, wallet address, or any other identifying detail, and there is no form on the site that submits data to us.
The site makes one request to explorer.kerrigan.network/api/network-stats, our own block explorer, to display public blockchain statistics — such as block height and the number of active masternodes. That request reaches a Kerrigan-operated host rather than this one, and like any web request it carries your IP address and user-agent to it. It sends no identifier for you, we do not log it to build a profile, and it is not a tracker.
CDN request metadata. At and after launch, the site is served through Cloudflare for content delivery and DDoS protection. As a standard CDN, Cloudflare may transiently process basic request metadata — such as your IP address, user-agent string, and request timestamps — to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. This processing is handled by Cloudflare under its own terms and is not used by us to build a profile of you or to track you across sites.
This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising network, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.
Because we set no cookies, there is no cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
The site links out to third-party services, including cryptocurrency exchanges, mining pools, GitHub, Discord, and X (Twitter). Once you follow a link and leave this site, you are subject to that destination's own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.
Kerrigan is a public blockchain. On-chain data — including addresses, transactions, and balances — is inherently public by design and is visible to anyone using a block explorer. This is a property of the network itself, not of this website.
This website does not collect on-chain data and does not link any address or transaction to your identity. If you use Kerrigan's optional Sapling shielded transactions, the contents of those transfers are protected by zero-knowledge cryptography at the protocol level.
Privacy regulations such as the EU's GDPR and California's CCPA grant rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of its sale. Because this website holds no personal data about you, there is in practice little to access, correct, delete, or opt out of.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, and we send no marketing communications. If you have a privacy question or believe we hold information about you, you may contact us using the details in the Contact section below and we will respond.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since the site collects no personal data at all, no such information is gathered from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site evolves — for example, if we ever add features that handle data differently. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, and continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
